Vatterott College
Vatterott College was founded in 1969 and has grown to a total of 21 campus locations throughout the United States. Vatterott also has an online division for students who wish to pursue their education online. Vatterott offers a total of 175 career oriented programs that are designed to help students gain employment upon graduation.
Vatterott College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT). The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology is listed by the U. S. Department of Education as a nationally recognized accrediting agency.
The Court Reporting Institute of Dallas and the Court Reporting Institute of Houston are accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) to award diploma and associate’s degrees. The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools is nationally recognized by the United States Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation.
Vatterott’s programs are designed to be career-focused and hands-on. The learning environment encourages teamwork, interdependence, and critical thinking. The programs teach students the specific skills needed to be successful on the job. Vatterott College offers classes at a variety of times to accommodate students’ schedules and lifestyles. Many Vatterott students have outside commitments such as family, work, and extracurricular activities. Because of the flexible scheduling, students are able to keep their outside commitments while pursuing their education.
The automotive program at Vatterott College teaches students to become entry-level certified automotive technicians. The program utilizes current industry technology, equipment, and tools so that students are prepared for the challenges they will face on the job. Students spend several hours in the garage gaining valuable hands-on experience working on real automobiles. Students can attend the automotive program either part-time or full-time.
