You will receive instruction that will prepare you for work as an entry-level driver in either an over-the-road or local vehicle as part of our Commercial Driver's License (CDL) program. Basic information about trucks, the transportation and trucking industry, and the safe operation of trucks and tractor-trailers are the main areas studied in the North American Trade School's commercial truck driving program.
This program is designed to teach anyone, there is no need to have prior education or any prior experience with trucks to take this program.
There is always truck drivers needed, because they are a major part of the United States economy.

The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology has accredited the North American Trade Schools.
North American Trade Schools has the approval and license of Maryland State Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Maryland Higher Education Commission and Bureau of Indian Affairs.
Furthermore, the education of veterans and other eligible dependents for the career training programs are also provided by NATS.
