Financial Assistance

Each student will be assessed individually regarding their financial needs, and a program will be developed for them that helps both them and the school.

If students experience any type of financial problem during their schooling, they are encouraged to visit the Financial Aid office for possible assistance.

STVT has staff members trained to evaluate financial aid eligibility, and to provide assistance to students concerning their financial needs.

Applying for Financial Assistance

Every student in need of and applying for financial aid will have a personal consultation at the aid office. A Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be given to each student if need be.

In order to determine the eligibility for the financial assistance, the student is interviewed so that the required supporting documents are identified. A Financial Aid Officer will help the student understand and complete the application process and the related paperwork so that they may receive financial aid.

Students are responsible themselves for getting the correct documents in by the deadline so their eligibility can be determined.

Financial Assistance Program

As an accredited post-secondary institution, STVT offers various federal financial assistance programs to qualified students under the institute's Financial Assistance Program. These programs are in place to help students in financial need to pay for their education.

Also, various state, local and private programs are available for students. To see if you qualify for these programs, consult the Financial Aid office.

Eligible veterans can be approved for VA.
