Minnesota School of Business
The Minnesota School of Business opened its doors in 1877 as a leader in both professional and technical education. The school has expanded over the years and currently has campuses throughout several Midwestern cities and states. Campuses can be found in South Dakota, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. Most of the school’s campuses are located in Minnesota and include such cities as Blaine, Brooklyn Center, Elk River, Lakeville, Minneapolis, Moorhead, Plymouth, Richfield, Rochester, Shakopee, St. Cloud, and Woodbury.
Master’s, bachelor’s, and associate’s degrees are all available at the Minnesota School of Business. Short-term diplomas and certificates are also available in a number of fields of study. The school is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award all types of degrees and certificates.
The school offers certificates and diplomas in a variety of technology programs such as automotive technology. Students may select a particular emphasis or career path through the help of an onsite academic counselor. Auto body repair technician, automotive technician, and auto mechanic technician programs are all available. Students may complete their certificate within as little as 18 months or stretch the coursework to part time and finish when convenient. Courses are administered during the day or evening to accommodate student schedules. A balance of work and life is important to the instructors and staff at the Minnesota School of Business.
Career placement services are available at the Minnesota School of Business. The placement services department works together with the student to assist with their job search. Preparation for employment may consist of resume building, cover letter writing, coaching on job search skills, networking through job fairs, and access to a number of employment leads. The school is committed to seeing its graduates land successful employment upon completion of their desired program and field of study.
