Lincoln College of Technology

The Lincoln College of Technology has been in operation since 1946 and provides in-class training, skills, and hands-on experience to students pursuing employment in a specified field.  The school offers both diploma and associate’s degree programs in health sciences, business, IT, skilled trades, cosmetology, culinary arts, and automotive.  Lincoln College is made up of a number of campus locations including Denver, West Palm Beach, Melrose Park, Marietta, Indianapolis, Columbia, and Grand Prairie. 



The automotive program at Lincoln College of Technology is comprised of not only automotive, but also collision repair, diesel, and high performance fields of study.  Students are introduced to the latest models of vehicles and modern day technology.  Hands-on training is provided to give students the necessary experience prior to entry-level employment in the automotive industry. 

The automotive technician training program allows students to gain knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive technology, fuel and emissions systems, electrical systems, drivability diagnostics, transmissions, and drive lines.  The program covers all of the necessary information for students to graduate with either a certification or automotive degree depending on the student’s automotive career path. 

The collision repair technician program introduces students to every detail of dent repair, auto body construction, welding, cutting, surface prep, and technological advances in the industry.  Hands-on training allows students to gain first-hand the necessary skills to make them employable in the field. 

In the diesel training program at Lincoln students gain significant information in the repair and maintenance of these large automotive machines.  Certified instructors provide hands-on experience in diesel engines and repair, truck brakes and chassis, hydraulic applications, diesel fuel systems, and diesel electronics and diagnosis.  Students may receive a diploma, associate, or advanced degree in the diesel training program and the school’s placement program assists students in the initiation of their career.
