Globe University has been in operation for 125 years and continues today to provide students with the necessary skills for entry-level employment in highly specialized fields and industries.  What was once categorized as an exclusive business school, today Globe offers a number of high value career options through their educational programs.  Globe University operates campuses throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, and South Dakota.  The university is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools and considered to be a nationally recognized school that offers career driven and technical skills training programs.  Diplomas, certificates, associate’s degrees, bachelor’s degrees, and graduate level master’s degrees are all available through Globe University.

The diploma programs offered at Globe include both online and campus options.  Specific programs available include accounting, business administration, interactive media and graphic design, medical assistant, and automotive technology.  Online programs typically take between nine and fifteen months to complete.  Campus programs typically take the same amount of time and offer small class sizes.  The class size allows students to receive personal attention from their instructor.  Instructors establish set hours for office visitations, question and answer meetings, and course assistance.  Study groups are also an important aspect of student life on campus at Globe. 

The admissions process for undergraduate enrollment includes a personalized visit on campus with an admissions representative or staff member, the completion of an online application, meeting with a financial aid counselor, taking the Accuplacer assessment, and registering for classes.  An orientation or campus tour is highly recommended and can be arranged through the admissions office. 

For those students pursuing an online education through Globe, a large student services department is available via the Internet.  Internet classrooms utilize Blackboard and a virtual library allows students to access resources applicable to their coursework and field of study.  A help desk and educated staff is available seven days a week for technology concerns.
