Benchmark Learning
Benchmark Learning has been in operation for over 35 years and provides an insightful education in a wide variety of specialized training programs. The training center began in 1972 specializing in computer operating systems and today includes some of the most cutting-edge technology in existence at training schools. Not only does the school offer computer training courses and specialties but also an emphasis in completely different fields such as the automotive industry. Technical writers and computer technicians in the automotive industry are among the fields of study available at Benchmark Learning.
In order for potential and current students at Benchmark to clearly determine which field of study best suits their needs and desires, a series of skill assessments is available. The Career Booster Personalized Assessment allows students to take personalized skill assessments related to a course of interest or a class they have registered for. The SMART Organizational Assessment is geared more toward organizational and project readiness that covers a number of technology platforms. The assessment team works together with the student to define, determine, and validate effective choices while pursuing a career.
Both private and public training options are available from Benchmark. Public training options include instructor-led training through classroom and laboratory work. Hands-on learning and multidimensional coursework are common practice. Students partaking in the public training options are in close connection with their instructor and peers.
Private and customized training options are also available at Benchmark Learning. The personalized training sessions set up by Benchmark educators are designed as hands-on or lecture-style courses. Time and length of courses are predetermined to guarantee schedule fit. Small groups can be set up to participate in the customized training options. The small group rates are affordable and class work is set with efficient completion goals.
