Airframe Technology Powerplant Technology: Associate Degree in 14 months

If you attend the Hallmark College of Aeronautics for a little over a year, you can earn an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Airframe Technology and Powerplant Technology. Hallmark College provides a job simulation setting in order for pupils to discover the skills of airframe and powerplant technicians in a fully equipped environment. This course of study is under the regulation and accreditation of the FAA, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board and Workforce Commission, as well as the Veterans Education group. The Hallmark College of Aeronautics program lets students use the skills they've gained to perform aircraft diagnosis, maintenance, and repair. With a combination of hands-on and in-class training, students will acquire the needed tools and techniques to develop into a successful technician for maintaining aircrafts.

A student will be trained in various aircraft systems that include:

  • Landing Gear Systems
  • Flight Control Systems

  • Airframe Composition and Repair
  • Avionics
  • Airframe and Engine Inspection Techniques

The institute offers complete courses in Aviation Technology which enables a student to work in a real-world setting consisting of valuable time working with the equipment. Graduates will be qualified to take the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) A&P certification exams.
